Obituary of Noreen E. Galonian
NOREEN E. GALONIAN
Loudonville - Noreen E. (Sullivan) Galonian, 97 of Loudonville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 14th, 2023 at St. Peter's Hospice Inn with family at her side.
Born June 12th, 1926 in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Joseph M. and the late Rose (Hurtubis) Sullivan. Noreen married George E. Galonian on February 2nd 1947 and the two cherished a devoted and loving union of 55 years before his passing on July 10, 2002.
Noreen worked as a Senior Reservation Clerk at Albany Medical Center for 22 years before retiring in 1991. She was a former member of Wolfert's Roost Country Club and a communicant of St. Pius X Church in Loudonville.
Noreen is survived by her niece Michele Bernier of Loudonville.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her siblings Edward Sullivan, Charles Sullivan, Margaret Plante, Marion Bernier, Joan Gannon, and Joseph Sullivan.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Monday, November 20th, 2023 from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumitie Road, Loudonville. Mass of Christian Burial immediately following the visitation to be celebrated by Rev. James Walsh. Rite of Committal and interment to be held at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
