NATALE PONTARI

WATERVLIET - Natale Pontari, 67 of Watervliet, died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

Born in Reggio Calabria, Italy, he was the son of the late Giuseppi and Saveria (Rodà) Pontari.

Natale was a kind and gentle soul who had a heart of gold. He would do anything for anybody. Even though he did not have very much himself, he was always ready and willing to give the shirt off his back to a relative, friend, or neighbor in need. He was a people person who loved life and truly lived for the day. He will be cherished and remembered by those who loved him. His legacy of being a good brother to not only his siblings, but to others, will live on forever. May he rest in eternal peace. 

In addition to his late parents Natale is predeceased by his brother Antonio (Carmela) Pontari.

He is survived by his wife Laurie J. Pontari, stepdaughter Gina Gregio, as well as siblings Teresa (Robert) Moquin, Nina (late Dominick) Caridi, Francesca (late Robert) Cesare, Brigida (late William) Bulmer, Antonino (Annmarie) Pontari, Michael (Mary) Pontari, Leo (late Sandy) Pontari, and Joseph (Heidi) Pontari. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
