Obituary of Scott D. Stocking

SCOTT D. STOCKING

TROY - Scott D. Stocking, 43 of Troy, died suddenly on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.

Scott was born in Albany, on September 29, 1979. Growing up in Nassau, he attended Columbia High School and later went on to graduate from Hudson Valley Community College Class of 2014 with an Associates Degree in Computer Aided Design. Scott was currently employed by Atlas Copco of Voorheesville. He leaves behind his beloved family including his mother and stepfather Lisa and Ron Crowe, brothers Ibrahim Fred (Mouna) Stocking and Todd (Emily) Stocking, as well as nephews Mahamadou and Theodore Stocking and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Also survived by his beloved canine companion Timmy. He is predeceased by his former cherished canine companion Sawyer.

Scott was loved by all who were lucky enough to know him. He enjoyed riding motorcycle along with putting his creative mind to work through videos and music and was an avid chess player. He will be fondly remembered for his warm sense of humor, love of animals, and his willingness to always put others before himself.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, April 17th, 2023 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. A celebration of life and sharing of memories will take place immediately following the visitation. Interment will take place in the family plot of the Brookside Cemetery, Poestenkill.
