Obituary of Maribeth Anne Pelletier

MARIBETH A. PELLETIER

LATHAM - Maribeth Anne Pelletier, 60, of Latham, NY, passed into eternal life peacefully surrounded by family on Friday April 7th, 2023 after 4 years of beating pancreatic cancer.

Maribeth was born in Troy, NY to Peter and Vera (Rocker) Dziamba, and graduated from Lansingburgh High School. Maribeth enjoyed gardening, reading, home improvement projects, and various crafting. More than anything she enjoyed spending time with family, playing with and guiding any child that wandered too close, and helping anyone and everyone who might have a need. Maribeth worked for many years as a lunch aid at Loudonville Elementary School where generations of students will remember the time they spent and the fun they had with Mrs. Pelletier. Devoted mother, aunt, grandmother, and great aunt, her primary focus was doing everything in her power to ensure her family was happy and loved.

Maribeth will be dearly missed by her husband Gregory Pelletier, daughter Casey (Katelyn) Pelletier, son Joseph (Karen) Pelletier, grandchildren Ryan and Tara Pelletier, brother Peter (Debbie) Dziamba, and sisters Colleen Fogarty and Kelly (Jeff) Zovistosky. She will also be greatly missed by her many loving brothers and sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, near countless children (she loved children), friends, and at least two cats and a dog. A small crowd of family and friends eagerly awaits her arrival, especially her parents Peter and Vera Dziamba, her brothers Michael Dziamba and Peter Fogarty, a small pack of loving canines, and one gray cat.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to call on Friday, April 14th, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham. Mass of Christian burial to follow at 12:30 PM at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet Shaker Rd., Latham with Rev. Geoffrey Burke, celebrant.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations are requested to be made in Maribeth's honor to PanCAN, the pancreatic cancer action network at www.pancan.org.
