Obituary of Thomas H Fitzgerald Jr.

Thomas H. Fitzgerald, Jr. Beverly, MA – Thomas H. Fitzgerald, Jr., 68 of Beverly, MA, entered eternal rest on Sunday, April 2, 2023, after several months of declining health. He was born in Albany, New York on June 8, 1954 to the late Dolores DiDonna Fitzgerald and the late Thomas H. Fitzgerald, Sr. Tommy, as he was affectionately known, was raised, along with his three sisters, in Garfield Heights, Ohio and Loudonville, New York. He was a graduate of Shaker High School ('73) and Albany Business College ('77). He was employed as a Computer Operator for the State of New York, Albany and Gillette Corporation, Boston, Massachusetts. As a lifelong devout Catholic, Tommy prayed the rosary daily, faithfully attended Mass every Sunday and later in life attended virtual Mass daily. He was an ardent sports fan, particularly of baseball and his beloved New York Mets. He kept up with scores and standings of football, basketball, and golf, as well, and truly, loved attending or watching games on television. He was an avid reader of mystery novels expressly those written by James Patterson and David Baldacci. Tommy was truly happiest amongst family and in the company of friends. Although Tommy is free of worldly encumberments and is at peace, he will be deeply missed. Surviving him are his three sisters and their husband's, Denise and Fenton Lawless of NY, NY, Gail and Duane Anderson of Beverly, MA, and Maureen and David Alouidor of Chicago, IL as well as his loyal godson Geoffrey Gardner, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends.
