Obituary of J. David Kaercher

KAERCHER, J. DAVID

LATHAM - J. David Kaercher, born February 3, 1936 to the Rev. John A. and Helen

(Cressman) Kaercher, died February 11, 2023. David was the beloved husband of Jean (Bennett)

Kaercher for fifty-four blessed years and loving father of Dalynn Ann (Scott) Boyer,

Temple, PA, Mark David (Jessica) Kaercher, Latham, Nathan Edward (Suzanne)

Kaercher, Fayetteville, and the late David Russell Kaercher. He was supportive and immensely

proud Opa of Cameron David, Grace Eleanor, Elizabeth Jean, Hannah Claire, Rebecca

Ann, Rachael Ruth, Logan Brandon, and Mason Scott and brother of Dr. Timothy (Blaine)

Kaercher, Clifton Park. Dave was predeceased by his parents and brother, Jonathan

Kaercher (survived by wife Inger of Mechanicville).

David was proud of and grateful for his service with the US Navy. He was established in

the retail floral business for forty years, twenty-eight of which he and Jean owned their

"mom and pop" store, J. David Kaercher Flowers, Latham. Dave was a very positive

person and enormously generous with his time and energy, always ready to help family

and friends alike.

Interment will take place privately at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.

David's family will welcome visitors on Saturday, February 25, from 1 - 4 PM at Dufresne & Cavanaugh

Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham.
