WALTER JOSEPH JANKOWSKI Latham- Walter Joseph Jankowski, 50 of Latham, beloved husband of Maria A. Dandeneau Jankowski, died Monday, October 20, 2008 at Albany Medical Center, in Albany. Born in Manhattan, he was son of the late Stanley and Wanda Mary (Tepper) Jankowski. Mr. Jankowski married Maria A. Dandeneau on September 2, 1989 in Green Island and the two have shared a blessed union of 19 years. Walter was a Maintenance Worker, employed by The Anderson Group, in Colonie, for the last several years. Walter loved his family with all his heart especially the beautiful grandchildren he was blessed with. Survivors include his beloved wife Maria A. (Dandeneau) Jankowski, his children Rachelle A. (Joseph) Sturgis of Schodack, and Erica L. (Kevin) Livingston of Lake Luzerne, his Sister: Debra Jankowski of Manhattan, Nephew, Anthony Bonano and his cherished grandchildren, Joseph Daniel Sturgis III, Anthony Michael Sturgis, Angelina Marie Livingston and Karleigh Jean Livingston. Funeral services will be held Thursday October 23, 2008 at 11:00 am in the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham with Rev. Francis DuBois officiating.
