RENSSELAER - After a long, hard-fought battle with cancer, Rose passed on from this life on December 24, 2022. Rose was a loving person to anyone that knew her. She lived life to the very fullest every day. Even after the diagnosis, Rose refused to slow down. She often scheduled treatments so she could work the Greek Fest, attend family events, and go camping, and we all know there wasn't anything that would stop her from enjoying a cruise or traveling to visit family in another state. Rose was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Sparks; sister, Elizabeth Billetts; nephew, Joseph Stevens; and great-nephew, Matt Billetts. Rose is survived by her husband, Leonard "Lenny" Redmon; father and stepmother, Jose and Priscilla Martinez; siblings, Jose Martinez, Patricia Stevens, Juan Martinez, and Amanda Whitten; six children, Vincent and Samantha Ward, Jennifer and Derek Suiter, JoAnna and Wes Scarlett, RayShawn Redmon, Dorjee Redmon, and Elizabeth Redmon; 16 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces, nephews, and adopted children whom she made sure called her "Mama Rose." The love Rose had for her family and friends will be remembered and remarked on by all who knew her forever. The time we had with Rose was precious, and now she's moved on to be an angel watching over us. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Latham.
