LARRY J PASCALE

LATHAM - Larry J Pascale, 89 of Latham, husband of Nancy B. (Knipple) Pascale., passed away Monday, November 28, 2022 at Samaritan Hospital, in Troy.

Born in Watervliet, he was the son of the late Graziano and Martha (Yazzo) Pascale. Larry attended and graduated from Watervliet High School, Class of 1951 as well as from Hudson Valley Community College later in life. He served honorably in the United States Navy from 1952 until 1956. Larry and Nancy were married on December 13th, 1963 in West Haven, CT. He was a former parishioner of Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Watervliet.

Upon his discharge from the Navy, Larry began employment with Al Tech Steel in Watervliet. He would then go on to begin thirty-three years of dedicated employment at the Watervliet Arsenal as a Mechanical Engineer retiring in 1991.

Larry led a simple life. He took great pride in his property. An engineer at heart and mind, he found joy in tending to his home and meticulously maintaining his lawn. He will be forever missed and eternally cherished by those who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents Larry is predeceased by his son Larry S. Pascale who passed away on April 22, 1984 as well as his four siblings: Anthony Pascale, Mary (late Leo) O'Brien, Agnes Pascale, and Angeline (late William) Ford, and his nephew Ronald.

In addition to his wife Nancy, Larry is survived by his three children: Beth (Stephen) McCabe, Caren Lawson, and Christine (James) DiScipio, eleven grandchildren: Erin, Andrea, Carla, Ronald, Jamie, Cari, Aubrey, Daniel, Angela, Brandon, and Brooke, five greatgrandchildren, as well as cherished nieces and nephews: Patricia, William, Thomas, Michael, James, William, Kenneth, and Michael, along with numerous cousins.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to call on Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 10:00 - 11:00 am at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 am with Rev. Gordon Drake officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot of Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie.
