Antoinette "Toni" Delduce
WATERVLIET - Antoinette "Toni" Delduce passed away on July 30th, 2022 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy.
Born on June 13, 1938, Toni was the daughter of the late Angelo J. Sr. and Carrie (Silando) Delduce.
She was a graduate of St. Patrick's School in Watervliet and Catholic Central HS in Troy as well as Maria College, earning an Associate's Degree in Nursing. She was a devoted parishioner of the former St. Patrick's Church and later, Immaculate Heart of Mary Church of Watervliet.
Toni was employed with the NYS Dept. of Motor Vehicles, Office of General Services, and she retired from State service with the Division of Telecommunications in 1993. Toni worked in retail at the "Yarn Shops" in Latham & Colonie and was the owner of "Toni's Crafts" where she enjoyed sharing her creations and her home with friends. Toni was also a founder and chairperson of the St. Patrick's Craft Guild.
Toni's family would like to thank all of the numerous people who lovingly helped care for her. You are all truly angels who touched Toni's life and you will forever be cherished and appreciated in the hearts of her family. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses, security, and entire staff of Samaritan Hospital, Rubin Dialysis Center, and Star Bus Transportation. In Toni's words "May God Bless all my family, friends, parishioners, and the community of Watervliet."
In addition to her parents, Toni is predeceased by her brother Angelo J. "Butch" Delduce Jr. (Karen)
Toni is survived by her beloved sisters: Mary Eagan, and Elizabeth "Betty" (Rob) Fleming, her nephew and nieces Thomas (Kathy) Eagan, Terry Eagan, Carrie Kristen Fleming, and her grandnieces and nephews; Marissa and Karrington Eagan, Patrick Thomas Eagan Brown, and Kaitlin & Nathan Polk.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at St. Michael's Church, 20 Page Ave., Cohoes on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022 from 11am to 12pm. Funeral Mass will begin at 12pm. Interment to immediately follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
