Obituary of Ronald J Czwakiel Sr.

RONALD J. CZWAKIEL SR.

ALBANY - Ronald J. Czwakiel Sr., 75, lifelong resident of Albany, beloved husband of Lynda A. (Conroy) Czwakiel., passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022.

Ronald was born on February 25th, 1947 to parents Martin and Clara (Pabis) Czwakiel. Ronald and Lynda were married on November 17, 1968. He served honorably in the US Air Force from 1966 to 1970.

Ron worked as a supervisor at the NYS Dept of Taxation and Finance in Albany retiring in 2011. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed trout fishing as well as his cherished trips to Florida.

In addition to his parents, Martin and Clara, Ron is predeceased by his brother Martin Czwakiel Jr.

Survivors include his dear wife Lynda A. Czwakiel, his children: Ronald J. (Lisa) Czwakiel and Kristi (Joe) Ferrone, siblings: Barbara Kavanaugh and Thomas Czwakiel as well as grandsons: James and Zachary Ferrone. Also survived by cousin Richard Ott as well as several other cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to call Sunday, June 19th, 2022 from 2-4pm at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. A prayer service and rendering of military honors will take place at 3:30pm.

Private interment will take place at Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, FL.
