Obituary of Fidel Chuka Buzugbe

FIDEL CHUKA BUZUGBE

Fidel Chuka Buzugbe, 63, of Clifton Park, NY peacefully passed away at Albany Medical Center, on the 31st of May 2022.

Born on August 20, 1958, in Delta State Nigeria Fidel was the son of the late Alexius and Mary (Umeadi) Buzugbe.

Fidel immigrated to the United States from Nigeria in 1976. He attended and graduated from the University of Wisconsin- Madison, earning a Bachelors degree in 1981 and a Masters degree in 1983. He served briefly in the United States Army.

Fidel found success in several different business ventures in Beverly Hills, California and Environ. His love for criminal justice led him to pursue a Juris Doctor Degree. Fidel worked briefly as a program manager for AHRC in Plainview, NY and then returned back to his own business, Data Trace Us. He would later move on to Litigations Solutions and eventually to NWI Investigative Group.

Fidel was always good with jokes. He liked to listen to or tell a great story. He was a talented and kind man with a strong work ethic. He was a great and genuine people person. Above all he loved spending time with his wife and children.

Fidel is predeceased by his parents Mr. and Mrs Alexius and Mary (Umeadi) Buzugbe. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Stellamaris Buzugbe, and his children: Barry Giswald-Buzugbe, Blossom A. Buzugbe, Great C. Buzugbe and Treasure O. Buzugbe as well as his siblings: Mary, Fidelia, Vivian, Antoinette, Samuel, Scholar, Joseph and Rolland Buzugbe in addition to many other relatives.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd, Latham on Saturday, June 18th, 2022 from 9am to 11am. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made to St. Jude Children's Research hospital,501 St. Jude place Memphis, TN, 38105.
