Obituary of Natalie F. Odabashian
NATALIE F. ODABASHIAN
MENANDS - Natalie F. Odabashian, 99 of Menands, beloved wife of the late Harry C. Odabashian Sr., passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 14, 2022. Harry and Natalie were married sixty-seven years prior to his passing in 2012.
Born in Rensselaer on September 28th, 1922 Natalie was the daughter of the late George and Gertrude (Tompson) Finin.
Natalie was a former member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Albany. She was a devoted homemaker, and took great pride in both her home and her appearance. She was a committed, loving, and faithful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family meant the world to her, and she will be forever missed, and eternally cherished by those who loved her.
In addition to her parents and husband, Natalie is predeceased by her three sisters and their husbands: Gertrude (John) Klahr, Elaine (James) Hale, and Lillian "Erma" (Harry) Gainsley.
Natalie is survived by her son Dr. Harry C. (Kathleen) Odabashian Jr, grandchildren Dr. Kirsten O. (Michael) Healy, Kraig H. (fiancée Kathryn) Odabashian, and Daniel B. (Deirdre Brodie) Odabashian, great-grandchildren Claire K. Healy and Aerin M. Healy as well as her sister Joan (late Robert) Boule, niece Patricia Klahr Keel (late Rev. Robert Keel) and other nieces and a nephew.
In keeping with Natalie's wishes there will be no public calling hours or services. Her family will celebrate her life privately before laying her to rest with her late husband at Albany Rural Cemetery.
