Joan is my 1st cousin, and after Jack died, she came to our home in Canastota (her hometown) where we would visit family and friends. It was very important to Joan to visit the graves of her parents and brother to pay her respects. We enjoyed many happy times...going for walks, enjoying dining out with family and friends, playing a round of golf with Tony, and sharing fond memories. We will miss Joan, but our hope is in the Lord Jesus so we believe we will see her again. Until then, we will remember Joan in our hearts. Our prayers are with John, Louie and Carmen and their families and all her friends who love her. Linda & Tony Tosti

I am sad to learn of Joan's death. My heart goes out to her family. I was fortunate enough to be part of Joan's Maplewood family. Her love for life, her job, her family (work and her boys) and most especially for Jack were amazing. She lived each day with such energy. I am glad her and Jack are together again.

I will miss Joan will all my heart. It was my gift to have gotten to know her. She was a strong woman with a great sense of humor. Someday I will sing badly with her again. My love and prayers to her whole family. God just got a special angel.

I’m so sorry to hear of Joan’s passing. I worked with Joan for 10 years at Maplewood and have many fond memories of her and her 1st grade class. She was vivacious and energetic in everything she did from her oboe to her walking shoes. She and Jack were beloved in the Maplewood community and she will be missed.
