Obituary of Lynne A. DeJesus

LYNNE A. DEJESUS ALBANY - Lynne A. DeJesus, 64, of Albany, wife of the late William DeJesus, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022 at Albany Medical Center, after a brief yet courageous battle with cancer. Born in Staten Island on May 5, 1957, she was the daughter of the late James and Barbara (Henderson) Dalton. Lynne, an Analyst for NYS Dept of Motor Vehicle transferred upstate for work in 1994 until her retirement in 2019. Lynne enjoyed the simple things in life including knitting, reading, painting, rock and roll - especially the Grateful Dead - an occasional trip to the casino, and Jeopardy. She loved her family and they will forever hold her memory near and dear to their hearts. Lynne is survived by her children: Erin Dalton, Ralph DeJesus, Orlando DeJesus, and Rose DeJesus, her sister Tracey Dalton, daughter in law Becky DeJesus, nine grandchildren: Jon, Alyssa, Madison, Duwayne, Serenity, Caleb, Avrielle, Benjamin, and Charlotte, and two great-grandchildren: Ezra and Ace, as well as extended family including her late twin sister's children, Douglas and Eric, and many caring friends. She is predeceased by her husband, her twin sister, Pamela Dalton, and her parents. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, March 13th, 2022 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. A prayer service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 5:00 pm. Interment will take place on Monday, March 14th, 2022, 1:00 p.m. in the family plot of the Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island.
