I'm so very sorry to learn of Cindy's passing. High School classmates, she and I had exchanged a lot of emails during the past 10 years or so, each of us celebrating our children and their families in the midst of our own challenges. Our families sustained us through everything and anything.
Cindy agreed a few years ago to help me edit submissions to my literary magazine. Just last week, I had reactivated the magazine, The Zodiac Review, listing her again as a "staff member." I sent her a note asking if it was okay for me to keep her "on staff." But then, not hearing from her (she always responded right away), I thought, Damn, she was really sick with something. And I wondered if...you know. I wondered if she was still among us. So I went to obits. And there she was. Damn!
I'm really sorry for your loss. What an upbeat, positive force she was!
Love to all of you...

Dear Kelly, Kimberly, Grandchildren, Olmstead & Pelligrino Family and Friends,
I met Cindy at an audition for a musical ..we both wanted the lead role. She got the part and I didn't. They stuck me in the chorus somewhere. I hated her and then we became besties forever. I loved Cindy. When my sons were misbehaving (which was constantly) I would call Cindy and she would pretend to be Miss Lynch (The Headmistress of a reform school). They would shape up immediately. We had a great time together and I will miss her. Now she is singing with the angels as I am sure she got the lead role. Love to my beautiful friend. Linda & Tony Napoleon

My day was always a little brighter at Bryant & Stratton, when I knew that Lucinda would be there today. There would be that great food but especially the laughter. I will miss her. My condolences to her family on their loss.

I have fond memories of Lucinda when I taught at Bryant & Stratton College with her. Her love of fashion and great sense of humor were memorable! Her 80 years were a testament to a life well-lived! My condolences to the family.

Kim and Kelly, I just thought your mama was the greatest. She was always vibrant, fashionable, funny, and oh so talented. I loved being around her, even as a teenager and that is saying a lot. ;) I am thinking of you both. I am so sorry for your loss. She was an incredible woman.
Much Love,
Elizabeth (Beth) Wilson
