JUDITH (SMITH) GATZI-MULLIN BALLSTON LAKE – Judith Smith Gatzi-Mullin , of Ballston Lake, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 26, 2021. Born on April 2, 1944, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Valeria C. (Sowek) Smith. Survivors include her children Steven P. Mullin of Milton, MA, Gary (Sarah) J. Mullin of Orting, WA, and Pamela Ann (Malcolm) Hind of Niskayuna, NY, and grandchildren Darby, Sylvie Marie, Jewel Christine, Joseph, James Samuel, Mae Bethany, and Ian Stewart. Judith is also survived by her sister Andrea (George) Smith Person, two nieces, as well as many dear friends by whom she will be greatly missed. Judith grew up in Albany, NY, graduated from Cardinal McCloskey HS in 1961 and was a graduate of Siena College. Judith worked as an Administrative Assistant for NYS Dept. of Taxation and Finance for many years, retiring in 2006. She was proud of her heritage, enjoyed Polish dancing and holiday traditions, and was an active member of the Polish community in the Capital Region. In addition, she was a communicant of, member of the Rosary Society at and volunteer at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Cohoes. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Judith's family prior to her funeral mass at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 20 Page Ave., Cohoes from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Thursday, January 6th, 2022. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated immediately following the visitation at 11:00 am with Fr. Peter Tkocz officiating. Interment to immediately follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, Waterford. Memorial donations may be made to St. Michael's Catholic Church, 20 Page Ave., Cohoes, NY 12047 or at stmichaelsofcohoes.org/.
