Obituary of Elizabeth A. Feldmaier
ELIZABETH A. FELDMAIER
LATHAM - Elizabeth A. Feldmaier, 89 of Latham, beloved wife of James T. Feldmaier, passed away Monday, December 20, 2021 at Samaritan Hospital, in Troy.
Born in Watervliet, on July 23, 1932, she was the daughter of the late George and Alma (Burby) Tetrault. Elizabeth and James were married April 26, 1957 at St. Patrick's Church in Watervliet spending 64 beautiful years together.
During her life Elizabeth worked as a Teachers Aide for Capital Region BOCES. She spent much of that time dedicating herself to assisting children with special needs, a vocation which took much pride and enjoyment in.
Elizabeth will be forever cherished by those who knew and loved her. She enjoyed her Saturday night dinner dates with her husband, Jim and spending time with her dear grandchildren who were her pride and joy.
Survivors in addition to her husband James T. Feldmaier include her sons Thomas E. (Kathleen) Feldmaier and James K. (Darlene) Feldmaier, her 6 grandchildren Emilie (Tyler), Cheryl (Zachary), Zachary, Nicholas, Brianna, and Julia, as well as her 4 great-grandchildren Addison, Cooper, Brooks. and Emery. Elizabeth is also survived by her brother Bruce Tetrault.
In addition to her parents Elizabeth is predeceased by her siblings Virginia Quinn, George Tetrault, Edward Tetrault, William Tetrault, Alma Tetrault, John Tetrault and Joan Waz.
Relatives and friends are invited to call Tuesday, December 28th, 2021 from 8:30 to 9:30 am at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham.
Funeral mass will be celebrated immediately after at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Latham Fr. Geoffrey Burke officiating. Mass will be livestreamed and can be found by clicking here https://www.facebook.com/dufresneandcavanaugh.
Private interment to take place at Memory Gardens, Colonie.
