Obituary of Marjorie M. Snyder

MARJORIE M. SNYDER Latham- Marjorie M. Snyder, 90 of Latham, beloved wife of the late Maurice E. Snyder, entered into eternal life on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Eddy Village Green, in Cohoes. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Sheene) Atchinson. She was employed in the Dispatch Office at Sears Warehouse in Albany for over 10 years. Marge was a resident of Carondelet Apartments for over 17 years before moving to the Eddy in August 2009. Survivors include her cherished children Raymond M. (Kathleen) Snyder of Hunterville, NC and Joseph F. (Mary Cay) Snyder of Latham, her Sister Virginia Jean Aviza of Albany, and her cherished grandchildren, Craig (Erin) Snyder, Jackie (Andrew) Snyder-Quinley and great granddaughter Maria Snyder. She was predeceased by her Brother, William Atchinson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 27, 2010 at 7:00 pm in the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham with Rev. Francis DuBois officiating. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Eddy-Village Green Cottage # 22 for the excellent care given to Marge during her stay with them.
