Latham- Paulette L. Evereth, 66 of Latham, beloved wife of Michael J. Evereth., entered into eternal life on Friday, January 22, 2010 at Albany Memorial Hospital. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Edward B. and Adeline M. (Drummond) Murphy. Paulette was a graduate of Colonie High School class of 1961. She was a Bookkeeper with the family business Murphy's Disposal Service in Loudonville for many years. She was a life member of the Colonie Elks Lodge #2192 Ladies Auxilliary and a former active member of the Boght Hills P.T.A.. Paulette loved to vacation in the 1000 Islands and had done so since she was a teenager, she loved water skiing as well as downhill snow skiing. It was while she was vacationing in the Islands that she met her husband, Michael. Soon after their marriage in 1964, she enjoyed taking care of her three children. Fondly referred to as the ultimate event planner, she could meticulously plan anything from a family vacation to a garage sale. Her summers in the 1000 Islands were filled with gardening, boating, mass at St. Vincent dePaul Church in Cape Vincent (Rosiere) and spending relaxing afternoons by the river with her friends and family. Later in life, Paulette introduced her grandchildren to the beauty of the Islands. Each year she would have sand brought in to add to the beach for her grandchildren and their friends to play. Even though much of her life was spent dealing with heath related issues, it was the little things that made her the happiest. Paulette enjoyed gardening, photography and many trips to Las Vegas and Atlantic City. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Michael J. Evereth, She was a devoted mother to her three children: Michael and his wife Joanne Evereth of Guilderland, Sandra Evereth O'Hara and her husband Patrick of Rochester, Laura Evereth Spanbauer and her husband Daniel of Guilderland. Loving Nana to: Erika, Nikole and Paris Evereth, Connor, Rachel and Ashley O'Hara, Skyler, Gabriel and Daniel Spanbauer. She is also survived by her brother: Edward Murphy and his wife Barbara of Rochester, NY. Loving aunt to Erin and Katelyn Murphy of Rochester, her Uncle Alex G. Murphy, close friends Jason and Brenda Maltz, Stephen and Debbie Doling and Bob and Marianne Terry.
