Obituary of Patrick P. Farrell

PATRICK P. FARRELL

LATHAM - Patrick P. Farrell, 78 of Latham, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021 in Albany.

Born in Troy, on December 16, 1942, he was the son of the late David and Eva (Priggon) Farrell.

Patrick served honorably in the US Army from 1962 to 1968. He was also an "Old Timer" of the Latham Fire Department serving as a dedicated and devoted lifetime member for over 54 years.

Throughout his life Patrick worked as a plumber and was a member of UA Local #7 Plumbers And Steamfitters.

Patrick was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed camping in the Adirondacks, snowmobiling, and boating. For the past twelve years he resided at Brant Lake. He also had a fondness for rebuilding cars especially his MGB and MGC.

Survivors include his children Dana Farrell and Neil Farrell, his sisters Nancy (Donald) Disonell and Karen (Ed) McDonald, best friend Don Keilen, as well as his "favorite child" and beloved canine companion, Sam.

Relatives and friends are invited to call Tuesday from 9-11am at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. A prayer service will immediately follow at 11am with the Rev. Nick TeBordo officiating.

Interment with military honors will follow at Memory Gardens.
