Obituary of Marylisa Rice

MARYLISA RICE LATHAM – Marylisa Rice, 67 of Latham, beloved wife of Stephen Rice, passed away on Friday, July 30, 2021 at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Albany, on August 26, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary (D'Alessandro) Morris. Marylisa attended Shaker High School, class of 1971, Russell Sage College, class of 1975, and received her Master's Degree from University at Albany in 1977. Marylisa worked as a devoted school teacher for over thirty years at Latham Ridge School. She will always be remembered for her love of dinner dates and dancing as well as travel, interior design, and fashion, especially during her time modeling as a child and young woman. Marylisa was a fitness enthusiast and an avid visitor to A.B.C. Sports and Fitness. But most of all she will be remembered for her love of family and friends. Survivors include her dear husband Stephen Rice, loved son Robert Rice, son-in-law Tim O'Leary, and grand dog Dexter.
