Obituary of Rosanne K. Courter

ROSANNE K. COURTER ALBANY- Rosanne K. Courter, 72 of Albany, beloved wife of the late Kevin A. Courter., entered into eternal life a few short hours after Kevin's passing to join him in their eternal resting place Thursday April 29, 2021 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Gloversville, NY on November 1, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Dorothy (Karl) Hollis. Rosanne and Kevin were married on May 24, 1980 and had enjoyed over 40 years of marriage. Rosanne was an Auditor employed by the State of New York working for various departments and achieved over 41 years of service before retiring. She was a past member of the Colonie Elks Lodge #2192 and also a member of the Red Hat Society. She is survived by her loving son Kevin M. (Ilenia) Barrett, Step-Son Jason (Beth) Courter her adored grandchildren Oliver, Olivia and Brodyn as well as her sister Linda Hollis Rhinehardt. Rosanne was also predeceased by her first husband Wayne R. Barrett, who died in 1978. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday May 4, 2021from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home.149 Old Loudon Road, Latham, NY. Prayer service will take place at 7:00pm with Rev. Nick TeBordo officiating. An interment service will be held on Friday May 7, 2021 at 10: 00am at the Saratoga National Cemetery.
