Obituary of Norma M Hayward

NORMA M HAYWARD Stanfordville-Norma M. Hayward passed peacefully following a brief illness on January 28, 2021 at her home in Stanfordville, New York. She was previously a long time resident of Latham, New York. Ever the planner, she composed her own obituary. I have had a wonderful life, surrounded by a loving family and so many good friends. My beloved Carl and I were happily married for 47 years. We had two great children, Andrew and Janet. Andrew resides in Florida with my daughter-in-law, Sandra and my grandson, Buddy. Five years ago, I moved with my daughter to Stanfordville, New York and have loved our time living here. It is my request that there be no viewing or service. In lieu of flowers, I wish donations to be made to the Stanford Fire Company #1 6096 Route 82 Stanfordville, NY 12581, the Stanford Rescue Squad 6096 Route 82 Stanfordville, NY 12581, the Stanford Free Library 6035 NY-82, Stanfordville, NY 12581 or Hudson Valley Hospice 374 Violet Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. All dedicated people who give so much of their time to help others. I wish to thank my family for their love, my friends for many happy memories and God for always holding my hand. Services for Norma will be private at her family's convenience at Dufresne and Cavanaugh Funeral Home. Burial alongside her beloved Carl will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx, NY.
