FRANCES C. "BROWNIE" BROWN Scotia-Frances C. "Brownie" Brown, 81 of Scotia, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Brooklyn, NY on June 2, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Francis Joseph and Margaret (Christoff) Hockey. She was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Watervliet. She worked as a Nurse for more than 38 years at Ellis Hospital-Schenectady. Survivors include her devoted children Lisa (Roger) Souliere, Margaret (David) Floyd, Manley (Rhonda) Brown Jr. and Marykathryn (Christopher) Neville, her loving siblings Thomas Hockey and Margaret Pujo. She also leaves her dear friend George Walther. Frances had a special love for her 7 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great- Grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother Roger Hockey. Services for Frances will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
