Obituary of Yong Moon Kim

YONG MOON KIM Cohoes-Yong Moon Kim, 85 of Cohoes, beloved husband of Kinyu Kim., entered eternal life on Saturday, January 16, 2021. Born in Goyang, South Korea on March 5, 1935, he was the son of the late Chun Sung Kim and the late Bok Soon (Kim) Kim. Yong served and retired from the South Korean Army as a Military Police Officer. After moving to the United States he was a self-employed Carpenter, working around the Albany area. In addition to his loving wife Kinyu Kim he is survived by his devoted children his son Dong Whan Kim and daughter Hye Ra Kim. Yong also has three cherished grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Sung Whan Kim. Funeral service for Yong will be on Thursday January 21, 2021 at 9:45am at Dufresne and Cavanaugh Funeral Home 149 Old Loudon Rd. Latham NY. A visitation for Yong will be held on Thursday January 21, 2021 from 9:00 to 9:45 am at Dufresne and Cavanaugh Funeral Home 149 Old Loudon Rd. Latham, NY Interment will take place in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Colonie.
