Maureen was born on April 6, 1961 in Troy, the daughter James and Rose (Lagitch) Molesky. As a young girl, Maureen's family lived in Troy, where she graduated from Troy High class of 1979. Maureen was employed for many years with the NYS Dept. of Labor. Maureen had a great love for people and she was loved by everyone she touched. She loved to travel with her husband and her children especially on road trips. She loved spending time at their family's cabin on the Great Sacandaga Lake. Maureen was a huge football fan and she just loved to watch the games on Sunday while she cooked. A special thanks to her friends April, Lisa and Kim for all that they have done for her and her family through these last few months.
Survivors in addition to her mother include her beloved husband of 29 years Wayne S. Cook Jr., her cherished children Wayne S. Cook III and his wife Morgan M. Cook of Sanford N.C., Shannon Cook of Latham and Kasie Cook of Latham, her brothers Michael (Neysa) Molesky of Castleton and James (Kristina) Molesky of Johnsonville. Maureen was predeceased by her sister Marilyn Molesky and father James Molesky.
