MICHAEL D. COWAN
Latham- Michael D. Cowan, 67 of Latham, husband of Kathy (Soldani) Cowan entered into eternal life on Saturday September 19, 2020 at St. Peter's Hospital.
Born in Troy, on June 2, 1953, he is the son of J. Frances (MacCubbin) Cowan and the late John L. Cowan. Michael and Kathy were married on March 13, 1983 and together enjoyed 37 years of marriage.
Michael was a Computer Programmer Analyst, employed by NYS Tax & Finance, in Albany for many years until retiring in 2016. He loved reading, visiting the William K. Sanford Library, and spending time in Cape Cod with his family.
In addition to his wife, Michael is survived by his loving children Sarah (Dan) Renaud, John (Bridget Burgoyne) Cowan, and his cherished grandchildren Robbie and Lilly. He is also survived by his brothers Stephen (Lucille Marion) Cowan and Matthew (Frannie Agostine) Cowan.
Michael was predeceased by his sister Laurie Conley.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
