Our condolences go out to Colleen's family. Our son, Eric, was a classmate of John through Southgate Elementary and Shaker High School. Colleen and her husband were a joy to be with, and were very helpful with school activities. We are very sad to learn of her passing.

Jackie, Fr. Pat, John and family,
I was very sad to hear of Colleen's passing, as were my brother and sisters. We all have so many great memories of her and she matched her mother in sweetness - an almost impossible standard. Please accept our condolences. She will live forever in your hearts and memories. Lori DuBois and family.

Dear John, Fr. Pat, Keegan and Butler families,
My sincerest condolences. I know I do not have to tell you what an angel you had in Colleen. To refer to her as sweet, kind, devoted and positive is truly an understatement. She was one of a kind and we have all lost a very special woman. Our lives converged in our first job on the North Dock in catalog sales at Montgomery Ward in Menands in the mid-70s. We hustled packages to customers for pickup evenings after our school responsibilities, always helping each other in our quest to give the best customer service possible, and for Colleen, that was easy. She was a natural. Who wouldn’t love that smile?! She even charmed the older boss who never smiled for anyone. During the succeeding 45+ years we stayed in touch annually, though regretfully, not as often as I would have enjoyed. I am deeply saddened by the loss of Colleen, and sincerely hope you find peace and strength in the memories you made with her. With warmth, my heart is with all of you.

I have wonderful memories of Colleen from our teen years that I have always treasured. We met for lunch a few years ago and had a lovely reunion. I took this picture of her then.
