ALLAN C. SCHILLER Latham- Allan C. Schiller, 50 of Latham, passed away suddenly on Sunday November 8 at his home. Allan was born in Charlotte NC & moved at a very young age to Berne, NY where he was raised by his mother and grandmother. He graduated from Berne-Knox-Westerlo High School. He was employed at National Business Equipment & Supply Inc in Albany. Allan married Deborah, the love of his life in 2002 in Las Vegas. He loved motorcycling his entire life and enjoyed riding with his wife and friends as well as attending Americade in Lake George. Al had many hobbies including photography and collecting antique pedal cars. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hiking, skiing, snowshoeing and camping. Al was happiest standing in a field in front of a bonfire surrounded by family and friends. He will be missed by many friends who loved him. Survivors in addition to his beloved wife are his sister Nancy (Schiller) Michaels & her husband Doug, his brother Carlton Schiller & his wife Janice, nephew Michael Schiller, nieces Lynn Salisbury & Michelle Michaels, his mother & father in law; Florence & Frederick Suter and his sister & brother in law; Linda (Suter) Dawson & her husband Jerry. He is predeceased by his parents Carl E. & Evelyn (Alger) Schiller and his grandparents Zoa & Earl Alger. In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation.
