I am very sorry for Rick's passing. He was a great guy and lots of fun to be around. Not only will his family miss him, but all who knew him will feel his absence. He was a great guy. My condolences to his wife, daughter and family.

Rick and I were teammates and became life long friends playing hockey for Troy. His #3 and my #6 made more than a few plays together and, later in our lives, when we would get together nothing changed - it was just like when we were getting ready to take on Lake Placid or Massena. He had an infectious smile, quick wit and added some needed fun to everything we did on and off the ice.

My condolences to the Fox and O'Donnell family. I have fond memories of going to school with the Fox family and Ricky as an upper classman at OLV and Lasalle. I had the pleasure of skating with Ricky at Lasalle and actually playing a few shifts with him as a freshman. Skating with the seniors was a big deal and Ricky was very supportive.
