Obituary of Carol C. Liburdi

CAROL C. LIBURDI Woodcliff Lake, NJ- Carol C. Liburdi, 75, of Woodcliff Lake, NJ, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at her home. Formerly from Cohoes, she was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth J. Liburdi. Carol and Kenneth enjoyed 47 years of marriage before his passing in October of 2018. Born in Long Beach, CA on March 13, 1944, she was the daughter of the late John and Frances (Boardman) Chupak. She spent most of her childhood in Ticonderoga, NY and was valedictorian of her high school class. Carol graduated from the Crane School of Music with a Bachelor's Degree in Music. She mostly enjoyed being a homemaker but also had worked as a librarian for the Loudonville Christian School, and later on for the New York State Travel Division for many years. Survivors include her son Kevin (Kathleen) Liburdi of Ramsey, NJ, her beloved grandchildren Kayla and Ryan Liburdi, and her sister Cheryl Davis of Pennsville, NJ. Carol is also survived by her niece Rachael Vandersteur, and nephew Gregg Davis, grandniece Noelle Vandersteur, and grandnephew Jared Vandersteur. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00pm Monday September 23, 2019 with Rev. Nick TeBordo officiating in the Dufresne and Cavanaugh Funeral Home 149 Old Loudon Road Latham, NY 12110. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 10:00am to 12:00pm prior to the funeral service. Interment will be beside her husband Kenneth in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Watervliet.
