Rest in Peace, sweet cousin Peggy. Peggy was my father Edward Sweeney's first cousin, my second. She assisted me with genealogy information on our Shea family members beginning in 2010. This allowed me to visit the home of my father when he was young, and being raised in the Bronx. Peggy's mother, Catherine "Kate" (Shea) Tighe, took a train from New York, a single woman at the time, to Pennsylvania, and picked up her sister's three little son's, and raised my them including my father Edward, who was two years old, and his two young brothers after the death of their parents caused by the flu pandemic of 1919-1920. Kate was a great woman and the only mother my father ever knew. The Shea family originated in Castlecomer, County Kilkenny Ireland, where my paternal grandmother, Mary Ellen (Shea) Sweeney was born. Mary Ellen was Kate's sister. God Bless you Peggy, and may you sing with the angels. Blessings to Jim and Kevin Kratchel. Rebecca (Sweeney) Lowe, Southern California.

I would like to express condolences in the loss of your dear loved one. Also share some hope from the bible that says we will be able to see them again in the coming resurrection according to these scriptures [John 5:28-29] and [Acts chapter 24;15]. We find further hope in [Isaiah 25:8] and [Revelations 21:3-5] which says in part that Jehovah God will wipe out every tear from our eyes and death will be no more, because God will swallow up death forever. I hope these scriptures will be of some comfort
With Deep Sympathy.
