RAYMOND J. MORGANS
Troy- Raymond J. Morgans, 52 of Troy, passed away suddenly on Friday, October 2, 2009 at home.
Born in Albany on February 16, 1957, he was the son of the late William R. and Barbara J. (Horner) Morgans.
Ray was employed with the Old Daley Inn Catering Co. in Troy and prior to that he worked for Old Country Buffet in Latham Circle Mall. Ray possessed an avid appreciation for varied musical genres, cinema, T.V., comedy and Broadway Theater. He had a benevolent Christian spirit, quick sense of humor and was a loyal volunteer at Thanksgiving for Equinox in Albany.
He is survived by his loving sisters Linda Moon of Troy and Kathleen Morgans-Perri of Saratoga Springs, as well as his special nieces and nephews; Stacey, Krystal, Joseph, William, Michael & Matthew.
Ray is predeceased by his 2 brothers: William R. Morgans Jr. & Stephen J. Morgans.
A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday from 4:30-5:30 pm at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham with a memorial celebration at 5:30 with Rev. Nick Tebordo officiating.
