I knew Sister Mary Brendan while I attended St. mary's Hospital School of Nursing in Amsterdam, NY in 1968-71. she was my instructor in various subjects regarding the Nursing field. I have such very fond memories of her. She was an amazing instructor always expecting the best from us. She had a mischievous smile sometimes when she knew her nursing students may be up to something. We all boarded at the Nursing school and our instructors became our friends as well. She loved what she did. That was obvious. She was true to her calling in very way.
She was a huge part of the rich legacy of St. Mary's. So very blessed to have known her.
