Obituary of Dennis A. Searles

DENNIS A. SEARLES Schenectady-Dennis A. Searles, 73 of Schenectady, beloved husband of Debra A. Glynn Charbonneau Searles passed away peacefully on Monday Born in Middle Falls, NY on April 29, 1945, he was the son of the late Ivan James and Jessie Laurie (Emery) Searles Sr. Dennis was married to the former Debra A. Glynn Charbonneau on April 9, 1977. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1967 until 1968 as well as the Army Reserves until 1972. Dennis was the Head Wash Man at Our Lady of Hope Residence in Latham for 31 years, retiring in 2012. Dennis was also the caretaker of Content Farms for over 21 years. In addition to his wife Debra, he is survived by his brothers in law William (Noreen) Cody and Ron (Donna) Charbonneau, his beloved nephews Mike Cody, Billy Cody & Scott (April) McKeighan, also his nieces Susan (Owen) Watson, Bryanna McClement, Lisa Cody, Sandi (Doug) Olson and Ashley, Amy & Bryan Charbonneau, His siblings Cynthia Jones and Arnold Searles. Dennis was predeceased by his Step Mother Shirley Searles. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham. Funeral services will be celebrated on Friday December 14. 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham with Rev. Nick Tebordo officiating.
