DANIEL M. "DANO" NASH
Daniel M. Nash "Dano" age 54 passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 23rd at his home in Edgewater, Florida.
Born in Albany, NY on September 14th, 1964, Daniel was the son of Jacqueline L. Nash and the late William J. Nash Jr.
Daniel graduated from LaSalle Institute in Troy, NY and received a degree in accounting from Keiser University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Daniel began his career in the restaurant business at the age of 16. Due to his dedication and incomparable hard work ethic, Daniel was rewarded with and enjoyed a successful career as the General Manager of several well known establishments along the east coast and Florida. Daniel's excellent ability to maintain grace under pressure in this challenging and unpredictable business was a constant source of inspiration to all who had the pleasure to work with him.
Dano had great love for all of his family and many friends and was well known for his fierce devotion to the Washington Redskins. Dano left a lasting impression on everyone who had the honor and privilege to meet him, know him, love him and work with him.
In addition to his devoted mother, Dano is survived by his adored wife Tracey Pethick Nash, his cherished son Daniel Tyler Nash (Alexis) his loving siblings William J. Nash III, Derek J. Nash (Tracy), Gregory J. Nash, Natalie L. Keenan (James) as well as his dear nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and countless friends and co-workers. Dano is also predeceased by his sister Nancy L. Nash.
A memorial mass honoring Daniel's life will be held on Friday November 16th, 9:30 am at St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumitie Road, Loudonville, NY 12211.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Daniel's honor and memory may be made to Wreaths across America (https://www.wreathsacrossamerica.org), an organization of which he was especially fond of. Dano's legacy of caring and compassion will carry on through these donations, and in the hearts of all who knew him.
