Obituary of Beverley L. Krauss

BEVERLEY L. KRAUSS Guilderland- Beverley L. Krauss-Hussey, 55, wife of A. Paul Hussey passed away September 1, 2018 surrounded by her family and friends. Beverley was a graduate of Siena College and Albany Medical College where she earned a Master's Degree as a Physician Assistant. She was employed in women's health care at St. Peter's Health Partners at Samaritan Hospital. Beverley was a "birder" and with her closest friend Angela Stammel traveled as far as Costa Rica to go birding. Bev was always happy to be boating on Sacandaga Lake and hiking with Paul and her children in the Adirondack Mountains. She loved her pets, Bear and Lucy. She always said that her cat Morgan would be waiting for her at the Rainbow Bridge. Beverley was loved by her family, her friends and her patients. Beverley was the daughter of the late Wayne Krauss and Karen Krauss (Murphy). She is survived by her husband Paul, her mother Karen, daughter Michelle Unser, son Mark Murphy and her daughter-in-law Melanie (Lynch). She is also survived by her sister-in-law Karen Miller-Krauss, her niece Stephanie and her nephew Daniel. Her brother Jeffrey Krauss predeceased her in 2017. She was also predeceased by her in-laws, Robert Hussey, Darby Hussey and Shirley Berney Hussey. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday September 6, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Bev's Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday September 7 at 10:00 am at St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumitie Road, Loudonville with Fr. Dominic Ingemie celebrating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Bev's memory to the Community Hospice Foundation, 310 S. Manning Blvd., Albany NY 12208.
