Obituary of Marie LoSasso

MARIE LoSASSO Albany- Marie LoSasso, 86 of Albany, beloved wife of the late William J. LoSasso, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Botwood, Newfoundland on September 24, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Violet (Stuckless) Edison. She was married to William and shared 63 loving years of love and devotion prior to his passing on August 20, 2016. Marie was employed with ROMAC in Albany as a recruiter specialized in the data processing field for many years. She enjoyed playing bridge, shopping and travelling especially the trips she took to the Winter Olympics. She was an avid NY Yankee fan but first and foremost she was a loving and dedicated homemaker. Marie is survived by her loving children Barbara Castaldo of Troy and William J. LoSasso Jr. of Hanson, MA, her 7 grandchildren Jessica, Robert (Jennifer), George, William III (Nicole), Dana Lynn, Gregory and Trevor. She is also survived by her siblings Beryl, Josephine, David and Lorraine. She is predeceased by her daughter Diane and her siblings Joyce and Jack. Funeral services will be celebrated privately and at the convenience of the family at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home. Interment will take place next to her beloved Bill in Saratoga National Cemetery.
