MICHAEL JOSEPH PAGE Latham- Michael Joseph Page, 56 of Latham, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis on Friday June 15, 2018 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy with his loving family at his side. Born in Troy on April 1, 1962, he was the son of the late Raymond I. and Florence A. (Rotelli) Page. Michael attended Tamarac High School and was very involved with the Wildwood Services Program in Latham. Mike had a love for all animals and he especially loved birds and his cats. Michael had a larger than life smile and unique sense of humor that was contagious to those around him. He was more concerned about those providing him with care and the burden he was placing on them than he was his illness. He inspired us all and will be forever in our hearts. He is survived by his loving siblings: Raymond (Debbie) Page, Theresa (Adam) Cerbone, Patricia (Paul) Kearns, Doreen (Late Michael) Sollecito and Mary Anne (Late Robert) Clow as well as several nieces, nephews and his cats (the late Abigail) and Natasha. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Monday June 18, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham. Michael's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday June 19, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Latham with Rev. Geoffrey Burke officiating. Interment will take place next to his parents in St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy. The family would like to thank the staff of the Wildwood Programs of Latham, Samaritan Hospital 6th floor nursing staff, The Community Hospice and special thanks to Dr. David Strumpf for the extraordinary personal care given to Michael.
