Obituary of Albert J. Bonnier
ALBERT J. BONNIER
Latham- Albert J. Bonnier, 82 of Latham, passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at St. Peter's Hospital.
Born in Saint Chrysostome, Canada on June 29, 1935, he was the son of the late Leo and Denise (St. Onge) Bonnier.
Al was employed for several years as a truck driver with Preston Trucking in Albany. He also worked alongside his wife Joan at Joan's Cake Chateau in Latham.
Al is survived by his wife of 61 years Joan Bonnier, his loving children Monique and Michael, 3 cherished grandchildren Jenna, Melissa and Tyler as well as his brothers Maurice, Peter, George and Ernie Bonnier and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brothers Claude and Gill.
Relatives and friends are invited to call Tuesday May 29 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham.
Al’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday May 30 at 10:00 am at St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham with Fr. Brian Kelly officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Al’s name to www.catholiccharitiesusa.org.
Interment will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery, Waterford.
