Obituary of Edna M. Johnson

EDNA M. JOHNSON Latham- Edna M. Johnson of Latham passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on Mother's Day, Sunday May 13, 2018. Born on April 28, 1929 in Rochester, Edna was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Anne (Marshall) Piddington. At one time Edna was a Medical Receptionist with CHP in Latham. She then took a position with Community Health Care in Latham in the physical therapy department. Edna is survived by her loving children: Laura A. (Mark) Czolowski, Robert D. (Sheryl) Hale, Richard A. (Sue) Hale and Deborah L. (John) Maggio, as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and beloved pets Teddy and Casey. She is also survived by her brothers Donald (Joanna) Piddington, Kenneth (Molly) Peddington and dear friend Suzanne O'Loughlin. She was predeceased by husband Richard P. Johnson and daughter Wendy. Edna's memorial gathering will take place on Thursday May 17, 2018 from 12:00-1:30 at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd. with a memorial service following the gathering at 1:30 pm with Fr. Patric Legato officiating.
