Obituary of Charles W. Teale

CHARLES W. TEALE Loudonville- Charles W. Teale, 93 of Loudonville, passed away peacefully on Sunday January 21, 2018 in the comfort of his home with his loving family by his side. Born in Brooklyn on January 12, 1925, he was the son of the late Frederick and Elsie Fredsall Teale. Chuck proudly served in the United States Navy from 1942 to 1954 during both World War II and the Korean Wars. He was a graduate of Columbia University with a Bachelors of Science degree in chemical engineering in 1945. He was married to the love of his life Katherine M. Fink for 59 years prior to her passing in 2007. He was a chemical engineer and plant manager with the Norton Company in Watervliet for many years retiring in 1985. Chuck is survived by his loving children C. Eric (Laurie) Teale of Bedford, NH, Karen M. (Andrew DeFeo) Teale of Altamont, NY, Stephen A. (Alison) Teale of Fabius, NY, and Jonathan M. (Jeanne) Teale of Colonie, NY, he is also survived by his daughter in law Erin Quirke and was predeceased by his son Mark L. Teale. He is survived by his cherished grandchildren Chris Teale, Aaron Teale, Heather (Furman) Henry, Sarah Lovell, Ryan (Bridget) Lovell, Chelsea Teale, Travis (Amy) Teale, Katherine Teale, Stephanie (Michael) Teale-Green, Natalie Teale and Madelyn Teale, Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday January 25, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. -12:00 noon at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham. Funeral services will be celebrated at 12:00 noon immediately following the visitation at the funeral home with Rev. John Phillippee officiating. Interment with full military honors will take place in Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
