ALFRED J. MAROLI Loudonville- Alfred J. Maroli, 61 of Loudonville passed away peacefully yet suddenly in the comfort of his home on Sunday, September 3, 2017. Born in Troy on July 27, 1956, he was the son of the late Michael A. and Ruth M. (Daniels) Maroli. Al was a 1974 graduate of LaSalle High School. Al was the former owner and operator of Big Al's Produce in Menands for 11 years. He previously worked for Masher's Produce in Troy for several years. Al currently was a Produce Man with A.J. Rinella Inc. in Menands for the last 10 years. He was also an AVID New York Giants and New York Mets Fan. He is survived by Debra J. Waite of Loudonville, his sisters Dolores M. Valenti and Leonora (Ellie) Maroli all of Troy as well as his nieces Michele Valenti and Daniele Lyman and his aunt Jennie Masher. Also he is survived by many cousins. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Thursday September 7, 2017 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Al's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday September 8 at 11:15 am at Sacred Heart Church, 310 Spring Avenue, Troy with Fr. John Yanas officiating In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave, Menands, NY 12204 Interment will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy.
