Obituary of Charles "Charlie" Joseph Ferris

CHARLES "CHARLIE" JOSEPH FERRIS Latham- Charles "Charlie" Joseph Ferris, 20 of Latham, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Samaritan Hospital, in Troy. Born in Albany on July 13, 1996, he was the son of John M. Ferris and Colleen V. Nolan. Charlie was a 2014 graduate of Shaker High School. Charlie had a passion for working on cars and loved dirt biking. He also enjoyed working on computers and making his own music beats. He loved the special times he spent with his family and friends. Charlie is survived by his mother, Colleen V. Nolan of Mechanicville, his father, John M. Ferris of Latham, his brother: Vincent J. Ferris of Latham and sister Bridget Lee Ferris of Mechanicville, his maternal grandmother Geraldine Nolan, his paternal grandmother Susan Ferris as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Charles Nolan and his paternal grandfather John Ferris. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Friday July 14, 2017 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road Latham. Memorial services for Charlie will be celebrated on Friday evening immediately following the visitation at 7:00 pm at the funeral home with Deacon Helmut Neurohr officiating.
