Obituary of JoAnne Marie King

JOANNE MARIE KING Nassau- JoAnne Marie King, 45 of Nassau passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017 in Nassau. Born in Troy on September 23, 1971, she was the daughter of Marilyn (Daus) Ferguson and the late Harry Wayne King Jr. JoAnne was a loving and dedicated homemaker. She had a love of music especially for 1980's rock. She was a free spirit who loved the outdoors especially kayaking, hiking, fishing, waterfalls,sightseeing and butterflies. JoAnne also loved going on adventures with her two boys. She is survived by her mother: Marilyn R. Ferguson of Averill Park; her two cherished sons: Brett Michael Lascala and Chance Tyler Lascala. Her siblings: Wayne (Diane) King, Michael King, Paul (Karen) King, Kevin King, Vicki (Bill) Barbour, David King, Theresa (Anthony) Deso and Tedi (Toby) Adair, her Step-father: Arthur Ferguson, her companion Keith Lorette and she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday July 6, 2017 from 12:00-2:00 pm at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Funeral services for JoAnne will be celebrated at 2:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home immediately following the visitation with Rev. Joe Auslander officiating.
