EDNA P. THOMPSON Watervliet-Edna P. Thompson, 81 of Watervliet, beloved wife of the late Richard H. Thompson., died Thursday, September 18, 2008 at Samaritan Hospital, in Troy. Born and educated in Mechanicville, she was the daughter of the late Halsey and Edna M. (Moore) Sanders. Edna was a homemaker with a special love for her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, baking and crocheting for them all. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard H. Thompson who died September 5, 2001. Survivors include her loving children Trace Eric Thompson of Watervliet, Peggy Feliciano of Coxsackie, William J. Sanders of Florida and Patricia Bender of Troy. Edna is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren and special nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday September 20, 2008 at 11:00 am in the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Saturday from 9-11 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Edna will be interred next to her late husband in Rock City Falls Cemetery, Rock City Falls.
