ROGER W. GERBY

LATHAM - Roger W. Gerby, 75 of Latham, beloved husband of Marilyn (Turner) Gerby, lost his battle with cancer on Monday, January 23, 2023.

Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of the late Russell and Margaret (Widman) Gerby. Roger and Marilyn were married for almost 50 years.

A graduate of Clarkson University, Roger worked his entire career at the New York State Department of Labor in Albany.

Roger was a selfless provider and a handy problem solver. He enjoyed spending time with family, golfing, relaxing by the lake, as well as trips to the Saratoga Race Course. He will be eternally missed and forever cherished by those who knew and loved him.

Survivors in addition to his wife Marilyn include his two sons Chris Gerby and Brian (Amanda) Gerby, one grandson Oliver Gerby, as well as a sister Martha (John) Davis.
