THOMAS JOHN COLEMAN Watervliet- Thomas John Coleman, 33 of Watervliet, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2016 after losing his long battle with depression; he died of a heroin overdose. Born in Albany on August 14, 1983, Tom was raised in Ballston Spa and was the cherished son of John R. and Mary Jean (Reed) Coleman. He attended SUNY Geneseo and SUNY Albany. Thomas was currently employed with Computer Answers in Albany. He had a love for computers, music and attending many concerts with his family and friends. Thomas was a free spirit, loved life and was a kind soul to all who crossed his path. His family was everything to him and he to them. In addition to his parents Tom is survived by his loving twin brother Ryan (fiance Lucy Wonson) Coleman, his sister Brittany (Joseph) Coleman Richards his adored nephews Cole and Logan Richards, his Paternal Grandmother Mary Coleman and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Latham. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Tuesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Thomas Coleman may be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention 120 Wall St. 29th Floor New York, NY 10005 or St. Peter's Addiction Recovery Center 636 New Loudon Road Latham, NY 12110 would be appreciated.
