Obituary of Helen E. Hoff

HELEN E. HOFF Albany- Helen E. Hoff, 99 of Glenville, beloved wife of the late Alfred E. Hoff, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Baptist Health & Rehabilitation Center, in Scotia. Born in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary (Wolczanska) Bartnick. Helen was a graduate of Waterford High School. She was employed by the New York State Dept of Labor in Albany, for over 35 years prior to her retirement. She was a longtime communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church in Albany where she was a former member of the Altar-Rosary Society. Survivors include her loving niece Patricia H. (Charles) Fox, nephew Robert E. (Jan) Mendel sister-in-law Lucy Bartnick and brother-in-law Vincent (Clare) Hoff. Helen was also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her dear sister Stasia Mendel and brothers Edmund, Ted and Edward Bartnick.
